Pros

• The platform is specifically designed for customer engagement in a modern online community or social space. It is fairly easy to configure and configurations around SSO (Single Sign-on) are straightforward.
• We like the simplicity of Spaces and Collection to give a structure to the community. Easy SSO setup helped us get started quickly with a friendly login experience for our existing customers.
• The app store model is what makes this platform appealing. One can explore the apps and install the ones that best fit the requirements.
• We really appreciate the ability to customize every little aspect of the platform to provide our members with a polished and intuitive experience at the same time.
• I am loving the Tribe platform. It’s been really easy to set up. I’ve also really enjoyed how easy it is to integrate notifications to Slack so we can keep up with what’s happening on the Community pages at all times.

Cons

• They have no notifications for your browser only email notifications.
• There are very few ways to make it "yours", other than changing brand colors and graphics.
• As a proponent for open-source software and development, I am disappointed that Tribe is not open-source.
• The pricing plans are relatively expensive.
• Sometimes it is unclear how to make certain changes however on the Tribe Community many people.
